Directions
Cover cookie sheet with parchment paper or foil. Set oven to 270 degrees.
1In small bowl, beat egg whites, vanilla, cream of tarter, and salt untill
soft peak forms.
2 Very gradually add sugar, beat until very stiff peaks form.
3 Drop mixture by teaspoon full onto baking sheet, spacing one inch apart and
bake for 1 hour.
4 Immediately move to rack to cool. Remove from pan when completely cooled
and store in air tight container.
